International Finance Conference in Berlin

Participants were warmly welcomed at the centrally located Marriott Hotel Berlin, which provided easy access to all event venues. The conference itself took place at Bertelsmann’s offices at Unter den Linden 1, a historically significant location in Berlin. The modern event building with its historic exterior offered the perfect backdrop for the conference’s alternating plenary and workshop elements thanks to its modular room layout.
The supporting program for the international guests included a variety of city tours—by boat, bus, or bicycle—inviting participants to explore Berlin in perfect summer weather with typical local stops. The program was rounded off with two very different evening events: after a dinner and party at the exclusive Soho House, guests enjoyed a barbecue at Café am Neuen See.
NEC was responsible for the complete research and organization in advance, the design of the evening and supporting programs, and on-site execution. Among other tasks, we coordinated all service providers involved in both the event planning and practical implementation.
